Continuing strong in its fourth year, we’re proud to continue our philanthropic efforts on our independent artist initiative 'Greater Good'. In an effort to provide development to the next-gen, Greater Good gives a career-changing package to one exceptional act, including in-kind services and a cash grant totalling over $30,000 AUD.

  • Grant For Release Promotion & Career Development
    • A cash grant of $4,000 AUD to kickstart Artist's career.
    • Funds to be used for but not limited to: Release Promotion, Touring Expenses and Marketing.

    • 1 x Single Campaign project managed by the Good Intent senior management team (Rob Carroll, Rick Bridgman and Nick Moran).
    • PR and Label Services provided by Good Intent, which includes PR, Radio Plugging, DSP Servicing and Digital Marketing Service.
    • Graphic design, illustration by Ben Mitchell.
    • Artist Management Consultation Meetings.

    Recording & Production Package – Forbes Street Studios
    • 2 x Days Recording in Studio 1 or Studio 2 (depending on requirements) with Ethan Reginato (The Avalanches, Gang of Youths, Sleepmakeswaves).
    • Mix and Master of recording from FSS.
    • Dolby Atmos Mix from Tim Watt (Hilltop Hoods, Vera Blue, Crooked Colours, Empire of the Sun).

    Caitlin McGregor (known as CP) is the Program Manager at MusicNSW, where she leads initiatives that empower and connect musicians and industry professionals, and support vibrant and sustainable music communities. She has more than 10 years’ experience in the industry as artist/producer HANDSOME, co-curator of Pleasures Playhouse, project manager for independent legendary label Elefant Traks, event producer, music director, radio host and touring musician. She also works alongside artists total tommy and Ayesha Madon.

    Rick created Greater Good in 2021. is currently Chief Operating Officer at Good Intent for all endeavours, as well as overseeing all marketing for the wider business, live music venues and respective clients. He manages Close Counters and Fool Nelson.

    During the course of his career Rick has worked with the likes of Bag Raiders, Lime Cordiale, Deep Sea Arcade, Megan Washington, and Sheppard.

At Good Intent, community is at the heart of everything we do.

Here are a few of our current projects that we’re committed to, giving back to those who need it most. If you have an idea of a cause we should get involved in, please drop us a line!

  • For the past four years in November when Australian Music Month hits, we open the doors to our sister-company, Good Loco, giving away complimentary dry hire of our photography / videography space to independent artists. We wanted to continue to give back to our growing community and hope that with these comp sessions, artists can create some incredible, meaningful content and save funds for other parts of their career.

  • We are very proud to sponsor the Alexandria Rovers Rugby League Football Club in 2023! In addition to our ongoing commitment to the team, we’ve ran fundraisers for the club’s end of year trips and look forward to working closely with the club and community in 2023 and into the future.

  • Kicking off in 2021, we began a new tradition on Aus Music T-Shirt Day firing up the bbq to raise funds for Support Act and currently raised over $10k! See you again next year 🌭🌭
